Rental of any or all of the gyms at WAYA includes exclusive use of the rented gym space for the time designated. Only WAYA members are allowed to rent our facilities. WAYA staff will be available to assist with the set-up of chairs, tables and trash cans and for the clean-up of chairs, tables, floor and trash only. All activities and supervision of activities are the sole responsibility of the renter.
Moonwalks may be set-up in WAYA gyms and typically do not require a generator. WAYA will allocate 1 hour prior to the agreed upon party time for the moonwalk to be delivered and 1 hour after the agreed upon party time for the moonwalk to be picked-up. An additional hour fee will be charged to the renter in the event that the moonwalk is delivered or picked-up outside of this grace period.
WAYA staff is available to help you host your event. This staff member will help you unload you car, supervise activities, baby sit younger siblings, cut cake or whatever you need to make your event a success. The cost for a staff member is $20/hour, to be included in your final payment to WAYA.
WAYA requires that all facility rentals after 6 p.m. include the cost of 1 security guard at $35/hour. (4 hour minimum) If your event will include alcohol, WAYA requests that 2 security guards be secured for the event. WAYA has a relationship with the Austin Police Department and will arrange for the security guard(s). Payment for the guards will be included in your final rental payment.
All party payments are due to WAYA at the conclusion of your event.
