Cost to Play:

Member: $160.00

Non-member: $260.00

* EARLY BIRD Registration deadline: Sunday, October 11th ($135 members/ $235 non-members)
* Regular Registration deadline: Sunday, October 25th ($160 members/ $260 non-members)

 

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:

Boys pre-k (age 4) - 2nd grade

 

TEAM FORMATION:

Teams will be formed by WAYA staff with special attention given to schools, zip codes
and requests. Please note all requests on the registration form. Complete teams with
payment will be accepted. There will be a max of 10 players per team.

 

SEASON INFO:

Late Fall Basketball will run from Monday, November 2nd- Saturday, December 19th. There will be no games the week of Thanksgiving (November, 23rd).

PRACTICES begin the week of November 2nd.
FIRST GAMES will be November 7th.
LAST GAMES will be December 18th.

Game day for all divisions is SATURDAY.

Developmental Division (PreK) will meet once a week, on Saturdays for both a practice and a game.

Pee Wee Division (Kinder) will meet once a week, on Saturdays for both a practice and a game.

Minor Division (1st and 2nd grade) will have one practice and one game per week. Practice will be determined by the coach but will not be on Saturday.

**BASKETBALL LEAGUE CLINIC**

By registering for WAYA's Late Fall Basketball League, you are eligible to attend the Coach 'Em Up Basketball Clinic.

The clinic will meet on Tuesdays.
Developmental & Pee Wee- 4:15-5:00pm
Minor 1st Grade- 5:00-6:00pm
Minor 2nd Grade- 6:00-7:00pm

 

PLAYING UP:

Participants with a higher skill level or experience may "play-up" in an older division
with the permission of the WAYA Program Director.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be given to those that cancel their registration prior to the registration deadline. Once the registration deadline has passed, a processing fee of $25 will be retained by the West Austin Youth Association. After the first game, registration is closed and refunds will not be awarded. Special cases must be approved by the Executive Director and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
