We use a Theme-based curriculum that is fun for the children, while allowing the Teachers the opportunity to enhance children’s Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Social, Emotional, and Intellectual skills. Children learn through play to learn to enhance thier cognitive skills. Lesson plans are posted in the classroom for you to review each week.
Our Pre-K Lead Teacher Miss Betsy is our Curriculum Director. Miss Betsy meets with our Lead Teachers in order to ensure Lesson Plans are Age appropriate, while also geared towards the progression toward Kindergarten readiness.

closeDo the children enrolled in WAYA Preschool get the use of the entire WAYA facility?
Yes. The children spend 45-60 minutes each day on the Playground.
Also, in the event of inclement weather or just for fun, the children use the gyms as a way to expend energy and practice gross motor skills.
Classes will also go on walking field trips when appriprate. Pre-K and other classes will use the gymnastics space upstairs.
